Entry-Level Security Assistant

Our client, a large, well-known company located in Safford, is now hiring security guards! If you are interested in a security position in Safford, this could be the position for you. As a security guard, you will be a critical part of the company team, providing for the safety and security of the company premises and personnel. Security guards are responsible for answering alarms, responding to calls for service, and may apprehend or detain individuals who pose a threat to security. As a security guard, you will monitor access to the company’s property and buildings, in order to prevent or stop incidents, such as theft or violence, from occurring on company grounds. Security guards may also work with law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency medical personnel, and may, in some cases, be called to testify in court and/or interview witnesses. • Patrol and inspect property in order to monitor for fire, theft, vandalism, or any criminal activity.
• Check alarm systems, doors, and windows to ensure they are secure and properly functioning
• Respond to alarms or calls for service
• Maintain a daily activity log, documenting the instances, including disturbances, that occurred
• Work as needed with law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency medical personnel
• When necessary, testify in court and/or interview witnesses
